    Pretty Vicious photographed in London. I was commissioned by Big Machine records to do press shots for the band. They wanted the shoot to be urban and British. We spent the day doing location shoots in East and North London, when I stumbled upon some empty shipping freights. I told the band to get inside and I put a fisheye lens on my camera and got this cool shot. We then went back to my place for pizza, beer and the band insisted on watching bloody 'Love Island'!     Shirley Manson lead singer of Garbage photographed in Chelsea, London. This shot was taken in a bar that was hired out especially for the shoot. After a bit of banter on how I looked like a young Johnny Marr, we got on with the shoot. Shirley was real fun and a joy to photograph, this was my favourite shot from the shoot.     The Courteeners photographed on the first night of their seven sold out gigs at the Manchester Apollo in December 2015. I was supposed to photograph them at Shepherds Bush Empire before travelling up to Manchester with them to shoot their Apollo gigs. But due to structural damage to the Shepherds Bush Empire, the gig was cancelled just before the band were supposed to go on stage. It was an amazing night and the crowd were absolutely buzzing.     The Libertines

    The Libertines photographed backstage at Margate Winter Gardens in October 2017, as part of their Tiddeley Om Pom Pom Tour. I was doing a reportage shoot with the band for the tour and I wanted to get a backstage shot of them together in Margate, as they had recently opened a hotel and recording studio there. Peter kept intermittently appearing and repeatedly telling me I remind him of Dustin Hoffman, then disappearing once I had gathered the rest of the band. I eventually managed to get them all together just before they went on stage. It was an excellent night at an excellent venue. Photographer: Simon Sarin
