Circa Waves photographed in a studio I set up backstage at The Oxford Academy. I was commissioned to do a feature on the band and we did a location shoot around Oxford before returning to the venue to some more serious moody shots. I took this backstage after soundcheck before we went for a curry and the band played live.

Amyl and the Sniffers performing live at the Brixton Windmill in London, England 2018. It was a summers day and I met the band in Brixton that afternoon. They wanted some portrait shots done, so we decided to do them around the Brixton Windmill. They played an excellent set later that evening in a packed out venue, the atmosphere was electric. There was crowd surfing, moshing, sweat and the band going mental on stage. One of the best gigs I’d been to in a while and brilliant to photograph.

Portrait of The Horrors photographed in a studio I set up at the hotel in Santiago de Compostela in Spain, that we were staying at in 2017. This photograph was taken on a day off from an assignment with Q Magazine and has never been published.
